Testimonies

Often I will go to a catholic camp and all the counselors will have stunning and inspiring testimonies. While those testimonies bring hope and inspiration often I leave feeling like I must have an amazing life changing testimony to be a true catholic. For that feeling I have three things to say.

1.Most of the time small things are what bring you to Christ or back to the church, we spend so much time looking for the big things we miss the beautiful small things.

2. Your relationship with the almighty Father is not increased solely by dramatic life changing events. Not to say those events are bad! They just aren't as common as we would like. You can increase your relationship simply by loving the Father, you will find that doing this simple thing can be one of the most pure testimonies their is.

3. Most of the testimonies I hear during youth group( and what not) have to do with the most Holy Sacrament. If you are searching for proof, love or Jesus him self. Go spend some time at holy hour. At holy hour you can cleanse you mind refresh what you know and feel intense love no human can give you.

Any way that's my take on testimonies please trust that what God has in store for you is exactly what you need.
