God's Love

Do you ever wonder how you could love and really dislike someone at the same time? Then when you think about that family usually comes to mind. You always wonder how your little brother could be so crazy and loud and obnoxious but you still love him. You love them because they are your family. You love them despite their (sometimes very numerous) flaws, because your flaws AS WELL AS you strengths make you who you are. Now that's something I think all of us can relate to. So think about it this way. God is your Father and you are that child. Flawed and imperfect. But just like we love our family despite their flaws God loves us despite our flaws too. No matter what we do, He will love us and be willing to take us back in to His fold. Just like we can count on family and very close friends to stand up for us in times of trouble, God will always stick beside us on times of trouble. Because He loves in unconditionally and despite our numerous flaws, and He will always love and welcome us with open arms. Unlike us He never gets frustrated and impatient. His love is perfect. -Kateri
