Being a Missionary at School

 School can be pretty rough. the drama, the homework, that annoying teacher who doesn't know what she's doing. But it is important to remember that every one is having just as hard of a time as you. Empathy must be a trait that we all learn.

Mother Teresa said this." Let anyone who comes to you go away feeling better and happier. Everyone should see goodness in your face, in your eyes, in your smile."

A smile may be all it takes for the girl in the hall who gets abused at home. The small gesture of simply listening can have a big effect for the shy girl who is bullied. We may not release it but in our schools we have people starving because of lack of love. People sick with addiction. People injured from their past. It is our duty as young catholic women to serve those in dire needs of friends. you may simply start by giving one complement a day. not a compliment on hair or clothes. But a compliment on the person's character. If you do that small act with great love, love will spread faster than you know.
